The invention relates to a keg for beverages, e.g. beer, having a cylindrical barrel body with a head ring and a foot ring, and barrel fittings in the end face. The object of the invention is to increase the service life of such a keg. This is achieved, in accordance with the proposal of the invention, essentially in that the head and foot rings (2) are exchangeably attached to the barrel body (3).
