<p>PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of control signal detection by specifying the number of times of correct reading of control signals read out within a series of recording range at the time of high-speed search to decide accurate signals. CONSTITUTION:A reproduced signal obtained from a mechanical system 11 in a digital audio tape recorder is sent to a digital signal processing circuit 13 and a clock reproducing circuit 14 through a head amplifier 12. The circuit 13 outputs an audio signal and supplies also a subcode signal to a system controller 17. A search control circuit 15 controls the relative speed of a tape in the mechanical system 11 and a rotary head so as to be the speed required at the time of normal reproducing also at the time of high-speed search based on signals outputted from the circuit 14, the amplifier 12 and the controller 17. The circuit 15 reads out a start ID bit and an error flag in the subcode signal, and when the bit and flag can be correctly read out by (k) times out of (n) times, decides a sure start ID. Consequently, control signal detection with high reliability can be attained even at the time of a high error rate such as the high-speed search.</p> |
