PURPOSE:To decrease a loss at synthesizing waves and to perform the wavelength multiplexing optical transmission for a long range, by constituting an optical wave systhesizing circuit with an optical multiplexing circuit with wavelength dependancy and that without wavelength dependancy. CONSTITUTION:The 1st-6th optical transmitters 1-6 having signal input terminals 11-16 respectively output optical signals of 800nm band with different wavelength by 10nm each to polarized plane preserving optical fibers 51-56. Optical multiplex circuits 201, 202 of interference film type having wavelength dependancy executes wavelength-multiplexing the optical signals from the optical transmitters 1, 3, 5 and 2, 4, 6 and output them to fibers 57, 58. The fibers 57, 58 are connected to an optical multiplex circuit 203 having no wavelength dependancy and of the polarized plane optical multiplex circuit constitution, and the optical signals subject to linear polarization and orthogonal polarized planes in the fibers 57 and 58 are multiplexed and led to a transmission line optical fiber 59. The optical signals are branched at a branching circuit 204 of diffraction grating type at the reception side and led to optical receivers 101-106. |
