PURPOSE:To prevent deviation of printing positions, by printing the printing data spooled in a data processing device from the first line by using the conventional types, and printing the data by using the types which are rotated by 180 deg. from the attitude of the conventional types from the last line at a specified period. CONSTITUTION:On a type drum 1, the types 2 are formed in the forward direction which is the same as the conventional direction, and the types 21 are formed in the reverse direction which is rotated by 180 deg. from the conventional direction. In normal printing, the printing data spooled in the data processing device is printed on paper 5 in the conventional forward direction from the first line to the last line by using the types 2. At the specified period, the data is printed in the reverse direction from the last line to the first line by using the types 21. In tyis way, the deviation of the printing positions to one direction can be prevented, and abrasion of ink ribbon can be made uniform. |
