PURPOSE:To count the number of complete copies even if roll ends or jams occur, by providing a gate circuit, which inhibits the output of a fixed paper detector in accordance with the output of a timer circuit which is operated in accordance with the output of a roll end detector, and a counter which counts the output of this gate circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a transfer paper remains sufficiently, a roll end signal (a) outputted from a roll end detector 28 becomes L, and the output of an AND circuit 33 becomes H independently of a paper leading edge detecting signal (b) outputted from a paper leading edge detector 29, and timers 34 and 36 are not operated. A fixed paper ejecting signal C from a fixed paper ejecting detector 30 is applied to an NAND circuit 38 through an NOT circuit 39 and a differentiating circuit 40. The other input of the circuit 38 is always H, and the L output triggers a timer 26, and an output (g) is generated for a time determined by R3C3, and the number of copies is counted by a counter 27. It is not counted if the roll end is detected, and the number of only transfer papers passing through the detector 30 is counted if jams occur. |
