PURPOSE:To improve the precision of magnetic field measurement, by compensating completely the unbalanced voltage of a Hall element. CONSTITUTION:A control current IH is supplied to a Hall emement 31 from a control current controlling circuit 1. Resistances 32-34 and the Hall element 31 constitute a bridge circuit, and the control current controlling circuit 1 controls the control current IH so that the resistance value of the Hall element 31 is equal to a resistance value Rref of the resistance 32 when values of resistances 33 and 34 are set to the same value. Thus, the resistance value of the Hall element 31 is made constant to compensate completely the unbalanced voltage, and the precision is improved because the variance of temperature of the Hall voltage is compensated. |
