<p>PURPOSE:To speed picture processing by using a two-dimensional data storage device. CONSTITUTION:Row address information specified by (k) bits is decoded by a row specifying address decoder 1 to activate only one of 2<k> rows. Then, the activated row specifying signal is inputted to a storage circuit 2 to output the contents of storage elements corresponding to (2m+1) rows including (m) preceeding rows and (m) following rows in the form of data consisting of (2m+1)X 2<k>) bits in total. A selector circuit 3, on the other hand, inputs and decodes row address information to select and output (2m+1)X(2n+1) bit bits corresponding to preceeding and following n columns specified in said data consisting of (2m+1) X2<k> bits outputted from said storage circuit 2. Namely, when some matrix (I,J) is supplied to this two-dimensional data storage device, information consisting of (2m+1)X(2n+1) bits in total including ambient pieces of information is read out simultaneously with the (I,J).</p> |
