PURPOSE:To shorten the time of execution of an instruction from a specific device by providing a control circuit with a flag register corresponding to respective magnetic disks, and causing an interruption to a corresponding disk when non-execution counters count up a value greater than a specified value with the control circuit. CONSTITUTION:A microprogram control circuit 12 is connected to a channel control circuit 11 and a device control circuit 13 connected to magnetic disk devices. This control circuit 12 is provided with a settable and resettable flag register 30, whose outputs are added to the output of an oscillator 18 by AND circuits 19-22; and non-execution counters 23-26 for counting the output of the control circuit 12 are reset according to said addtion values. In this case, FFs 14-17 of the register 30 and counters 23-26 are as many as disk devices. When the counters 23-26 count up to a prescribed value, interruptions to corresponding disk devices are caused to shorten the execution time of an instruction from a specific disk device. |
