The invention relates to a fixing of a ring housing pump on a centring ring (10). For the centring and easy dismantling of a pump housing (8) of a ring housing pump, a centring ring (17), tapered on its inside and cylindrical on the outside, is inserted between a foot flange (9) of the pump housing (8) and a seating ring (10) cast into the concrete foundation (11) and fixed in relation to the seating ring (10) by means of bolts (20). In order to dismantle the ring housing pump, the centring ring (17), after slackening the bolts (20), is raised to such an extent that the pump housing (8) can be horizontally displaced until this can be raised without obstruction past a centring (14) of a discharge connection (13).
