In the assembly of a coil with self-centring carrier of an indicating system in moving-coil instruments, the carrier (1) of the indicating system is placed onto a frame (7) between bends (12). On a roll-shaped part (8) of the carrier (1), a pointer carrier (11) with positioning openings (3) is stuck on which are seated on two projections (2) on the carrier (1) via which a mounting element (4) is placed on in such a manner that its legs (5) fit into grooves (6) in the carrier (1) and extend to the frame (7). Furthermore, a spiral carrier (10) is stuck on to the roll-shaped part (8) of the carrier (1). The assembly can be produced and mounted in a simple manner, the carrier of the pointer system being accurately centred in the required position without additional adjustment. <IMAGE>
