PURPOSE:To prevent corrosion of a grounded electrode, by forming a layer coated with a corrosion resistant material on the part of the electrode exposed to a malodorous gas. CONSTITUTION:A malodorous gas is introduced through ducts 2, 3 with a blower 1 along the grounded electrode 4b of an ozonizer 4 installed in the duct 3. The layer 4h of a corrosion resistant material formed on the surface of the electrode 4b prevents its corrosion against hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, or the like corrosive gas contained in the malodorous gas. |
