PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a rectifying circuit by charging a series connecting circuit of (n) pieces of capacitors in a positive half cycle and connecting the capacitors in parallel with each other in a negative half cycle to output a voltage. CONSTITUTION:When switches S0-Sn-1 and switching elements S1'-Sn-1' are opened and closed at every half cycle of an AC voltage 1, the series circuit of capacitors C1-Cn are charged in the positive half cycle, and are connected in parallel with each other in the negative half cycle of the AC voltage, thereby outputing the charged voltages of these capacitors in parallel and obtaining 1/n voltage output. With this structure, a large and heavy part such as transformer can be eliminated, thereby outputing 1/n DC voltage of AC input with a simple circuit. |
