PURPOSE:To decrease the synthesized displacement of the width direction and to minimize the oscillation energy which leaks to the outside along a supporting member, by providing plural bridge parts at the base part of a tuning fork type crystal oscillator and having phases of oscillation at each bridge part. CONSTITUTION:A tuning fork type crystal oscillator 1 consists of two vibrating arms 2, a base part connected to the arms 2, and a mount part 8 which is fixed to a supporting member supporting the oscillator 1. The part 3 is connected to the part 8 with plural bridge parts 5, 7 and 7'. The phases are formed opposite to each other between the part 5 and parts 7 and 7' in terms of the oscillation component of the width direction. The displacement of the width direction is eliminated at the mount part 8. Thus the oscillation energy which leaks to the outside from the oscillator 1 along the supporting member is minimized. |
