PURPOSE:To equalize the thermal expansion of a brake coil by varying the interval between the brake coils in the same pole. CONSTITUTION:The positions of brake coils W1-Wn on a pole piece 1 are selected to vary inversely proportionally to the square of the current flowing through the brake coils in the area of the closing circuit of the brake coils and a shortcircuiting ring. In this manner, the currents flowing through the brake coils W1-Wn can be equalized, thereby equalizing the thermal expansion of the brake coils. |
