PURPOSE:To facilitate the first reception of a picture after the recording paper is fed, by providing a sheet discharge mechanism at the entrance of a sheet guide which leads the sheet discharged from a rotary cutter into a developing device. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile receiver is provided with a side frame 1. A service cover 3, a latent image receiver 7, a developing device 9, etc. The continuous recording paper 12 sent from a paper feed reel is supplied to the device 9 via a capstan roller 4, a rotary cutter 8, a paper edge discharge mechanism 14, an independent paper guide 11 and a feed roller 5. The mechanism 14 turns round a fulcrum 142 when a cover 2 is opened. The new peper 12 is supplied and the roller 4 is turned with the cover 2 opened. Then the paper 12 is discharged through the mechanism 14. Then the cutter 8 is actuated and then the cut edge is pulled out. Thus the distance C from the new cut edge of the recording paper to the receiver 7 can be accurately decided. |
