PURPOSE:To strengthen the ground insulation of a coil end by engaging an insulating enclosure formed spirally in the section of four peripheral sides over upper and lower ports of the linear parts of a coil end. CONSTITUTION:An insulating enclosure 12 is engaged with an outer periphery over upper and lower coils of a stator coil 10 at the linear end side in which a ground insulator 3 is formed at the linear part of a core 1 and an end insulator 11 is formed at the end. The enclosure 12 is composed of divided segments 3, 13, the periphery for surrounding the upper and lower coils is formed in a spiral section, thereby increasing the insulating creeping distance. The segments 3, 13 are integrally coupled with an adhesive, and insulating abhesive is filled and buried in the gap between the upper and lower coils and between the coil and the inner periphery of the enclosure 12. The enclosure 12 may be integrally formed with an insulator having elastic force formed at one crack of the four peripheral sides. |
