The butt joints are prepared to form a double V. The copper seam is first silver soldered to a thickness of 0.4 mm and then faced with the material of the light metal plate. The joint is finally completed with electrodes of the material of the light metal plate. The facing operation is done by the WIG process in three passes and the final weld is done by the MIG process. |
