MEASURING DEVICE FOR PRESSURE IN TRANSPORTING TUBE OF PULVEROUS MATERIALS BY GAS

PURPOSE:To measure pressure in a transporting tube, by supplying an egual amount of pressurizing gas to communicating tubes having the same internal volumes and shapes which are provided at the two places in the halfway of a transporting tube and by measuring differential pressure between chambers for pressure drawing having the same internal volume and shapes provided in the communicating tubes. CONSTITUTION:A mixed fluid of a pulverous material such as fine dust coal and air is allowed to flow in a transporting tube 5 which is a tube to be measured. The ends of two pieces of communicating tubes 9 are fitted to the two places in the middle of the tube 5, and the other ends of the tubes 9 are communicated mutually and are communicated to a tube 11 lead from pressure supplying source 10. Chambers 14 as pressure drawing parts having larger inner diameters than those of the tubes 9 and which have cylindrical shapes are provided respectively and also flow rate controlling valves 15 and flow rate meters 16 are provided in the middle of the tubes 9. The chambers 14 have the same internal volumes and same inside shapes mutually and the tubes 9 have the same lengths and same inner diameters mutually. By such a way, the valves 15 are controlled and the value of the meters 16 are made same. Differential pressure between the two places in the tube 5 is obtained extremely correctly by measuring differential pressure between the insides of the two chambers 14.
