PURPOSE:To dissolve the instability of rear wheels during braking and to shorten the braking distance by energizing a solenoid with a time switch at the later part of an acceleration pedal return and by disengaging a clutch with a booster interlocked with a clutch pedal for a short time before applying a brake. CONSTITUTION:When a clutch pedal is depressed, the pressure in a relay control chamber 13 is increased, and the relay valve piston 14 is pushed to the right, then a hydraulic piston 7 is moved to the left by means of the pressure in an oil hydraulic control chamber 8, disengaging a clutch. A lever section 16 is pushed to the right due to the movement of the valve piston 14 so that a vacuum valve 17 is pressed into contact with a valve seat 18, then a relay path 19 is cut off from a control chamber 4 and an atmospheric valve 20 is separated from a seat 21, and the atmospheric air flows through an element 22 into the control chamber so as to push a power piston 3 to the left, thereby the power to a hydraulic piston is amplified. This action is automatically performed by turning on a switch 32 to excite a solenoid 24 at the later part of an acceleration pedal return, thus the engine brake can be effectively utilized. |
