The light building is rapidly erectable and dismantled and is made up of tubular uprights (1), the lower ends of which locate into concrete foundations and the upper ends of which carry support plates (4). The plates are folded into guttering channels (6) into which the edges of the curved roofing sheets (8) locate. Hooks (9) attached to the edges of the roofing sheets engage under the outer lips of the channels to hold the roofing sheets in position.
