Heating regulation of an upright service water storage tank and device for implementing the regulation

The heating regulation of a service water storage tank (5) as a component of a heating installation is to take place in such a manner that as long as possible burner operation times are achieved without impairing the efficiency of the heating installation. Use is made of a large service water storage tank (5) with an upper thermostat (9) and a lower thermostat (10). During winter operation, the heating of the service water takes place before the end of the daily night lowering phase. Only the lower thermostat (10) serves for control. Thus there is full heating at the end of the lowering time. The burner operation times are long. Recharging in the heating phase, which is hardly to be expected, only begins when the temperature falls below the value set at the upper thermostat (9). It runs until switched off by the upper or lower thermostat (9, 10). The same control as during the recharging in winter operation with switch-off by the lower thermostat (10) is to be envisaged during summer operation. <IMAGE>
