PURPOSE:To produce pistons for compressors efficiently by constituting sliding pipes of long sized steel pipes, joining many of plural pieces of pistons thereto by copper brazing then cutting the pipes suitably thereby forming the sliding pipe parts. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of piston parts 11a are tack welded to a long sized steel pipe 12 and the joining surfaces thereof are sealed and stuck by copper brazing. When the pipe 2 is cut in arbitrary parts, pistons 11 for compressors consisting the sliding pipe parts 11b and the piston parts 11a are obtained. The formation of clearances between the joined surfaces of the parts 11a and the parts 11b is eliminated with the pistons 11 manufactured in such a way, and the problems of lack of brazing filler metals, etc. are solved. |
