PURPOSE:To prevent play from being caused by wear in a door hinge or the like, by preparing a truncated-cone-shaped member softer than a spring pin which is used as the pintle of the hinge and by tightly inserting the member into the end of the pin so that the peripheral surface of the pin is tightly fitted on the inside of an insertion hole. CONSTITUTION:A spring pin 7 having a wave-shaped slit 7a is compressed against the elastic force of the pin so that the pin is inserted into flanged bushings 8 fitted in the pin insertion holes 5, 6 of a fixed member 1 and a movable member 3. A truncated-cone-shaped member 9 made of softer metal than the spring pin 7 is tightly inserted into the upper end 7b of the pin to expand the upper end in the radial direction to tightly fit the pin on the insides of the bushing 8 in the through hole 5 by elastic force. A hinge is thus constructed. Since the peripheral surface 7b' of the upper end 7b is strongly pushed on the inside of the insertion hole 5, play is prevented from being caused by wear. |
