PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain the remaining length within practical error range even in an extended time point of a short time, by obtaining the length of the unused blank paper which is measured and computed at every one rotation, subtracting an extending length 1n, which is an actually measured value from the average unused length, thereby obtaining the remaining length of the blank paper. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generator 6 is provided on an extending roller 5 and a rotation detector 7 is provided on a rotary shaft 4a which supports the rolled blank paper 4. Both are connected to a line. When the rolled blank paper 4 is rotated and the specified length of blank paper is extended, the measured values such as the extended length 1n and the number of rotation (n), a set value such as final blank paper diameter (d), a computed value such as a remaining blank paper diameter Dn, and an unused blank paper diameter Do are made to be data. The remaining blank paper length Ln is computed in an operating part 9 of a microcomputer 10 based on these data, and displayed. The unused blank paper length Lo is obtained in a remaining blank paper length computing circuit 9c. The remaining blank paper length Ln is computed by a computing expression, wherein the extending length 1n, which is the unused blank paper length, is subtracted from the average value of Lo. |
