PURPOSE:To measure the size of an internal surface any time conveniently, by energizing a pair of plate shaped sliders, whose edges face each other and which are juxtaposed along the same plane in the direction so that they can be relatively moved in the direction of the plane and they are separated each other, and arranging them so that they can be relatively rotated in an irregular cylinder to be measured, with the centers of the rotation being concentric. CONSTITUTION:The irregular shaped cylinder 14 to be measured is coupled to the outer surface of the pair of the sliders 7 and attached and fixed to a base, with the centers of the rotation being aligned with the center of the rotation of a rotor 2. The outer edges of the sliders 7A and 7B are compressed to the inner surface of the cylinder by a spring 9. When the rotor 2 is rotated, the pair of the sliders 7, which are inserted in groove parts 2a, are rorated around the center of the rotation, with the outer edges compressing the internal surface of the cylinder 14. When an error exists on the machined internal surface of the cylinder, the sliders 7A and 7B are relatively moved against the energizing force of the spring 9 during the rotation, and the error component is displayed by a display part 12b of a lever type dial gage 12. |
