摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To readily judge whether the highest speed gear of a speed change system with excellent fuel consumption is frequently used or not, with regard to the improvement of the operation control device of an automobile such as trucks and buses, by memorizing the accumulated operating times of each speed change gear, based on the signals from a judging circuit, which judges which speed change gear is used, from a vehicle speed signal and a rotational speed signal from an engine rotational speed sensor. CONSTITUTION:An engine rotational speed sensor 5 is provided in the flywheel housing of the engine, and provided with a detecting part 6 which detects the rotational frequency of the flywheel and generates pulses corresponding to the frequency and a rotational speed computing part 7 wherein the rotational frequency is divided by a unit time signal from a timer T and the rotational speed per minute is obtained. The speed change gear judging circuit 14 computes a speed change ratio R based on the signals from the rotational frequency computing part 7 and a vehicle speed computing part 4 and judges which of neutral, first, second,... and highest gears in the actual speed change gear system corresponds to the speed change ratio R. A speed change gear accumulating circuit 15 accumulates the time within the range of each speed change gear, divides the result by an operating time (t), and computes the using rate of the speed change gear within the operating time.</p>
