PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor high in sensitivity and durability, by forming a layer containing a specified bisazo pigment. CONSTITUTION:A layer is formed containing at least one of bisazo pigments represented by the general formula as shown in the right in which X is an atomic group necessary to complete an optionally substituted aromatic hydrocarbon or hetero ring; R1 is H or alkyl; R2 is alkyl; R3 and R4 are H or cyano; and R5-R8 are H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, nitro, or hydroxy. |
