A device for feeding photographic, sheet-shaped film carriers into the inlet slot of a developing machine is provided for improved utilisation of the working width of the developing machine and is equipped, for the purpose of greater utilisation of the working width of the developing machine, with a transfer device which is arranged between an exposure stage, provided with a film carrier advance device, and the inlet slot, which film separates carriers, can be swivelled about an axis perpendicular to the feed direction and can be moved along the inlet slot.
