The invention relates to a trapping protection device for objects which are moved by motors, especially for use on motor vehicles having window panes which are moved by motors. The trapping protection device consists of an electronic circuit (21) having an electrically acting sensor which is fitted to the moving object and which, in the case of a window pane (10) which is moved by a motor, may have the form of two electrical conductors (19, 20) which interact with one another as capacitor plates (capacitor foils). The electronic circuit (21) controls (as a function of the sensor signal) the electrical power supply to the electric motor (13) which moves the object.
