Sole for working shoe - has tread with projecting ridges at angles to one another e.g. in zigzag pattern

The sole (1) for a shoe is esp. for a shoe worn when working on a roof. Its underside is provided with projecting ridges (2) which extend at angles to one another (2a,b). At least two ridge elements may be arranged in V-formation. Three or pref. four such elements may be arranged in zig-zag pattern. The ridges pref. have rounded undersides and may have semi-cylindrical cross-section.
