PURPOSE:To eliminate long cords and troubles of wiring to simplify the constitution, by changing the front-side feed system of a developing device to a deep- side feed system and arranging electric parts and driving parts in the depth of the machine. CONSTITUTION:Shafts 191 and 221 in the driving side, namely, the deep side of a developing sleeve unit and a coat sleeve unit are supported axially through ball bearings 45 and 46 (figure 21) with metallic supporting plates 451 and 461 by a deep-side plate (insulator) 5 of the developing device box. Upper and parts of ball bearing supporting plates 451 and 461 are engaged with downward bending tongue pieces parts 93 and 94, which are formed in the deep side of an upper cover member 9 of the developing device, by screws 452 and 462. End plates (flanges) 19 and 22 in the driving side, namely, the deep side of the developing sleeve unit and the coat sleeve unit are constituted with conductive materials. Biases of the same potential ar applied to a blade 12 through the upper cover member 9 and an upper stay of the developing device box which detains the cover member 9 with screws and consists of conductive materials. |
