PURPOSE:To prevent exudation of plasticizer to the surface over a long period, by performing high-frequency sputter etching of PVC resin moldings under specified conditions, followed by heat treatment in the absence of oxygen. CONSTITUTION:A PVC resin molding 5 containing 10-40wt% plasticizer is mounted on an electrode 4 placed in a vacuum chamber 2. After the chamber 2 is evacuated via a discharge pipe 1, an inert gas is introduced into it through a valve 3 and the chamber 2 is maintained at 0.01-0.5Torr. Then 13,56MHz high-frequency voltage is applied, via a matching box 6, between the electrode 4 and an opposed electrode 10 from high-frequency electric source 7 and high- frequency sputter etching is performed under such conditions that electric discharge treatment may be done at 0.1W.sec/cm<2> or higher. The molding is then heat treated at 90-200 deg.C for 10min- a few hr in the absence of oxygen. |
