PURPOSE:To perform safety operation of a gas turbine and improve its thermal efficiency, by using blast furnace gas as fuel of a gas turbine power plant, taking out the blast furnace gas from the downstream of a dry furnace-top pressure-recovery turbine and introducing the gas to a fuel gas compressor through a cooler. CONSTITUTION:Discharged gas from a blast furnace 1 is introduced to a dry furnace-top pressure-recovery turbine 5, driving a generator 4, via a primary dust remover 2 and dry dust collector 3. The low pressure blast furnace gas, flowing through the turbine 5, is supplied to a gas holder 8 via an intermediate cooler 6 and flow divider valve 7, while the blast furnace gas is partially pressurized by a compressor 9 as fuel gas, and then supplied to a combustor 11. The fuel gas is mixed with pressurized air, flowing through primary and secondary air compressors 12, 13, and burnt in the combustor 11, and a turbine 10 is operated by this combustion gas to drive a generator 15. And then, the combustion gas is introduced to a boiler 16, here a turbine 17 connected with a generator 18 is operated by steam of the boiler. |
