PURPOSE:To improve working performance and simultaneously increase tooth contact area of the titled gearing by working the tooth form of the face gear of a syncline face cycloidal gearing into a curved conical shape in the tooth trace direction. CONSTITUTION:A cycloidal gearing 3 loosely fitted in the inclined shaft part 2 of an input shaft S1 is enmeshed with a fixed face gear 1 and an output cycloidal gearing 4. When the input shaft S1 is rotated, the cycloidal gearing 3 carries out precession, and hence a high deceleration can be obtained at an output shaft S2. The tooth forms of the cycloidal gearing 3 and face gears 1 and 4 are worked into convex faces or concavo-convex curved deflected faces so that they are formed into curved conical shapes in the tooth trace direction. The tooth crest direction of the gear is subjected to generating finishing into an involute form. |
