摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain high combustion efficiency, by controlling the pressure in a main pipe so that the differential pressure between the pressure in a fuel main pipe and the one in a common flue can hold a value to satisfy a specified formula, in a coke furnace in which a number of combustion chambers and carbonization chambers are alternately arranged. CONSTITUTION:Fuel gas is distributed to each combustion chamber 4R from a main pipe 1R, passing through a branch pipe 2R and a gas duct 3R. On the other hand, a combustion air is fed into a heat accumulating chamber 7R through an air valve 5R, and is fed into combustion chambers 4R, distributed to several stages to the longitudinal direction, passing through an air duct 8R, after being preheated. Combustion gas is exhausted to a common flue, passing through an air duct 8c, a heat accumulating chamber 7c, and a small flue 11c. In this case, the pressure P1 in the main pipe is controlled so that the differential pressure DELTAPG between the pressure P1 in the main pipe 1R and the pressure P2 in a common flue can hold a value to satisfy a formula expressed on the right side. In this formula, DELTAPSG is a preset differential pressure to a differential pressure DELTAPG, and T1G, T0G are an actually measured value of fuel gas and a reference absolute temperature, respectively.
