PURPOSE:To obtain a resistance thermometer bulb having high interchangeability, by a method wherein a resistance thermometer is formed by thin film resistance elements which have characteristics to compensate each other and are connected in series. CONSTITUTION:Provided that the coefficient of variation from the reference value of the mean temperature coefficient of a thin film resistance element is alpha, and the coefficient of variation from the reference value is gamma, the coordinate system is given with the coefficient of variation alpha as the abscissag and the coefficient of variation gamma as the ordinate. The said coordinate system is divided into small sections by drawing straight lines at equal distances suitably decided for each alpha and gamma. Then, provided that the resistance of the element which belongs to the first and second quadrants is R1t, and the resistance of the element which belongs to the section being symmetrical relative to the origin O to the section to which the said element is belongs is R2t, a resistance thermometer bulb is formed by connecting the said two elements in series. |
