发明名称 PRODUCTION OF FUSED FLUX FOR WELDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a fused flux for welding at a low cost by using the slag produced in the stage of producing ferro alloy such as Fe-Mn, and Si-Mn as a main raw material and adding proper contents of component controlling agents thereto. CONSTITUTION:The slag which is produced in the stage of producing Si-Mn and Fe-Mn of high carbon-middle carbon in electric furnaces and contains MnO is used as a main raw material, and raw materials for controlling flux components such as silica sand, fluorite and the like are added thereto to approximate these materials to the components of a flux for welding, then these materials are melted. After the mixture is cooled and solidified, the mixture is finely ground to prepare a fused flux, which is used in the stage of welding. Since the MnO of the flux component for welding is obtained from flag, there is no need for using Mn ore or the like and the production cost of the flux is reduced.
