<p>Device for centrifugally applying a liquid onto a moving sheet comprises a rotary device disposed in a plane intersecting the path of the sheet, and liquid feed means, the rotary device being a disc, and the liquid feed means being arranged to deposit liquid on at least one of the faces of the disc. The device is especially useful for applying a plasticiser to a moving sheet of cellulose acetate fibres in the manufacture of filter elements.</p> |
