PURPOSE:To provide a titled rolling mill which improves the accuracy in the thickness of rolled materials and the accuracy of their shapes by operating split type eccentric rolls constituting backup rolls by means of hydraulically driving devices via eccentric rings thereby controlling the rates of eccentricity and rolling reduction of the rolls. CONSTITUTION:In multistage cluster rolling mills which roll a material 1 to be rolled by incorporating work rolls 2, intermediate rolls 3, backup rolls 4, etc. into housing 1, the rolls 4 consist of 5 pieces of eccentric rolls, and their axial centers are displaced with pinions 17, racks 18a, 18b, sector gears 19a, 19b, and eccentric rings 15 by the operation of hydraulically driving devices 16. The rolls 3 and the rolls 2 in press contact with the rolls 4 supported pivotally to stationary shafts 5a stuck to the chocks 5 are deflected by the displacement of said backup rolls, whereby their corwns are adjusted. The automatic controlling of said devices 16 is made possible by position detectors 20. |
