<p>A composite self-lubricating material comprises a metal matrix containing functional additives, the matrix being formed by two components, one component forming shells around the functional additives and the other component being located in the spaces between the shells. The material of the present invention is useful in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electronics. Suitable functional additives are resins, graphite, metals, oxides, MoS2, BN, particles of these being coated with one metal such as Cu and then another metal such as Ph. The powders are then compacted and sintered.</p> |
