PURPOSE:To enable to melt off the moisture frozen up on a windshield glass in the early morning during cold weather by a method wherein a member for heat- exchanging with the cooling water of an engine is provided within a reservoir in order to heat washing liquid and as well as keep it hot. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of the washing liquid 6 in the hot washing liquid reservoir 4, which is detected with a washing liquid temperature detector 11 is higher than he temperature of the cooling water 5 in the engine 1, which is detected with a detector 10, a controlling unit 12 closes a valve 3 in order to stop the circulation of water to a heat exchange piping 2b. On the contrary, when the temperature of the cooling water 5 is higher than that of the washing liquid 6, the controlling unit 12 opens the valve 3 in order to circulate the cooling water in the engine 1 so as to pass through the heat exchange piping 2b and to heat the washing liquid. Accordingly, even when the moisture adhered on thefront glass in the early morning during winter weather freezes up, the frozen moisture can be thawed with the high temperature washing liquid, which is kept hot with the heat generated durig the running of the engine of, for example, the day before. |
