<p>Thiophene derivatives. These have the formula where R1 is an aliphatic, aryl (which can be substituted), heterocyclic or trifluoromethyl group, R3 and R3 which can be the same or different are hydrogen, aliphatic aryl (which can be substituted) or trifluoromethyl groups, R4 and R5 are hydrogen or a direct bond. The compounds are starting materials for pharmaceuticals e.g. thienodiazepines.</p> |
