PURPOSE:To strip away a plating inhibitor easily and thoroughly from a steel plate coated with the inhibitor by spraying water at specific rates to said steel plate to keep the plate wet with the water and giving strains upon the plate at specific angles with bending rolls. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate 1 which is coated with a plating inhibitor on one side and is plated is first sprayed with water on the surface coated with the plating inhibitor from spray nozzles 5a, 5b whereby said surface is kept wet with the water. The flow rate of the water in this time is set at about >=2g/m<2>. Thereafter, the steel plate traveling via a deflector roll 3a is given tensile strains with a bending roll 2 in case the surface coated with the plating inhibitor is on the outer side with respect to the bending roll and is given compressive strains when the same is on the inner side, then again the plate is passed through a deflector roll 3b. The diameter of the roll 2 may be about 10-200mm.phi and the winding angle thereon is set at about >=5 deg.. Thus the plating inhibitor is stripped away easily from the steel plate. The steel plate stripped away of the easily from the steel plate. The steel plate stripped away of the inhibitor is thoroughly removed of the stripped films by rinsing, etc. |
