PURPOSE:To remove the particles of ink adhered and paper without leaving printing traces by driving dot pins by a shorter period signal than a period taken to press the dot pins onto a printing paper before the beginning of printing of first characters. CONSTITUTION:CPU 1 judges whether or not print figure signals from a counter 7 are ones below 2 calumus. If the print figure signals are ones of one column, preprint data are set in a timer. In the print column of a slip 21, the position of the character to be printed in the first place is 3 column, and 1-th column and 2-th column are out of the printing region. The timer 5 is set in about 1/3 of the pulse width of normal print timing signal. The dot pins make printing operation, but under ther condition that no character is printed on the slip 21, preprinting of one column is made to complete warming-up. CPU 1 sends forth first data on the basis of printing figure signal for 4-the column. |
