PURPOSE:To stabilize a magnetic recording medium and to achieve mass production by using a magnetic paint contg. magnetic metals at 60-67wt%, thereby obtaining a magnetic film which does not produce any film defect even when the film thickness is increased. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic paint which consists of magnetic metal powder, a binder such as epoxy resin and a solvent and contains the magnetic metal powder at 60-67wt% is coated on a non-magnetic substrate of aluminum or the like to about 50-100mum thickness by a spinner method or the like and is then cured, whereby a magnetic recording medium for magnetic encoders is obtained. |
