PURPOSE:To protect the tank materials from corrosion and rust by a method wherein a dry separatable film is coated on the inner surface of a tank, various inspections are carried out, and then the coated film is separated and removed. CONSTITUTION:At the time of completion of a tank 1, a resolvent type dry coating material is applied on the inner surface of the tank by brushes, rollers, sprays, etc. to form a dry separatable film 3. The coating material is selected so as to form a film which is dried under the room temperature, has the high strength as well as elasticity, interrupts air and liquid to provide the resistance for rust, corrosion as well as chemicals, and which can be separated easily. Then, water is graudally poured into the inside of the tank 1 to perform various flooding inspections such as horizontal stabilization inspection, pressure-resistance inspection after letting it as it is for a long term, or water leakage inspection. Subsequent to those flooding inspections, the water is discharged from the tank 1 and the inside thereof is washed with water. With this, sludge-like foreign matters adhered onto the film 3 can be removed easily. Subsequently, the tank is returned to the original state by separating and removing the film 3. |
