PURPOSE:To prevent an anchor rod from damage by expansion due to the intrusion of soil, sand, water into their notches by a method in which ?-shaped and linear notches are provided in the peripheral wall of an anchor rod body, the tip opening of the anchor rod is fitted with a closing metal, and the body is covered by a heat-shrinkable tube. CONSTITUTION:Heat-shrinkable tube 6 of an anchor rod A is heat-shrunk by using an about 80 deg.C hot water so as to bond it with the anchor rod A securely. Plural rods A are driven into holes 8 drilled at given intervals in a retaining wall 7 until they reach a given depth of a banking 9. Then, an expandible material 10 is injected into the rear end opening 1b of the rods A until it reaches places with notches 21, 31 and 4, whereupon the expandible material 10 expands and hardens and thereby af the lapse of about 12-24hr, tongque pieces 22 and 32 are erected by breaking the tube 6 by means of expansion pressure and as the linear notch 4 is cracked and expanded, the peripheral part of the anchor rod body 1 is expanded. |
