PURPOSE:To simplify the weight calculation by allowing a guided section provided on a valve main body to be guided by a guide section provided on a relief valve installation section so as to restrict a valve main body to an up-and-down movement. CONSTITUTION:A guided section 15 provided on a cover-like valve main body 14 is guided through a pin 17 by a guide section 16 made of a holding section 16a and a vertical groove 16' provided on a relief valve installation section (e.g., low pressure casing 1 shown in the figure). When the internal pressure of the casing 1 exceeds a certain valve, the valve main body 14 is slightly pushed up, resulting in a condition with a cover opened, and the internal fluid is gradually discharged. When the internal pressure becomes low and a dangerous condition is over, the valve main body 14 comes down immediately to resume a cover condition. Accordingly, the valve main body 14 makes a simple up-and-down movement, thereby the calculation becomes easy, and the optimum cross section of the main body 14 against the internal pressure can be determined. |
