PURPOSE:To protect a joint surface of a steel plate, and to obtain a steel-Al clad material by a little degree of working, by covering at least a steel material side of a junction material with zinc (alloy), polymerizing an Al material, and executing its rolling and junction. CONSTITUTION:When manufacturing a steel-Al clad material, at least a clad surface of a steel material side is covered with zinc or a zinc alloy. This steel material is stacked with Al or an Al alloy material, which has removed an oxidized film of the clad surface. They are heated and hot-rolled, and both of the them are joined metallurgically, by which a steel-Al clad material is obtained. In this regard, even when the Al material side is also covered with zinc, and rolling and joining are executed, a satisfactory clad material can be obtained, as well. |
