The terminal (10) has a clamping screw screwed into a clamping frame for clamping an electrical terminal conductor (6) introduced to the frame against a contact piece of a protection switching device (1). A screw head of the clamping screw is accommodated in an insulating sleeve. The clamping screw is movable by screwing in the clamping frame in a longitudinal direction between an open position and a clamping position. A bus bar (8) is clamped to the conductor. The sleeve and a pressure piece insulation are formed as a single piece. The sleeve is movable along a longitudinal direction of the screw.
